ANNUAL STUDENT EVALUATION 

The English department of POLBAN held an annual festival as the form of evaluation for the student of English department in the 23^rd of December 2010. The festival was divided into several categories which were attended by all student of English department. Singing competition, poetry reading, drama, talkshow, translation, and themed essay writing were the contests that were held.

The festival was opened by singing competition with several students as the singer and accompanied by acoustic guitar. The situation became more special when two of our lecturers read a poet accompanied with spectacular theatrical act. Beside that, translation and essay writing contest were conducted separately. At the end of the event, drama contest was held with free theme. The show has become more splendors. Beside performing interesting drama, the actor also act funny on the stage which make the viewer laughing. Before the drama, actually there was free themed talk show which were performed in pair.

By this festival, hopefully the quality of department increased and this will also raise hidden talent that student have, hopefully this will become a plus for English department.
