LOMO is the abbreviation of Leningradskoye Optiko-Mechanichesckoye Obyedinenie... err, it's quiet hard to spell this thing. Actually, LOMO is a name of Lens Factory which is located at St. Petersburg, Rusia. Those factory produced microscope lens, weapon, and camera lens. in Austria, the brand gives inspiration to someone who later on will build a tradmark named Lomographische AG. the camera still use roll, and those who use the camera called Lomografer.
LOMO has become a lifestyl, well for some people, taking picture using LOMO is much much better than using conventional camera which are srticted to rule such as angle, focus, light, and so on. The main thing that makes LOMO really interesting is the picture that is taken always make diffrent sensation such as poppish colour, unpredicted picture and so on. Until now, the LOMO has many variation such as fish eye, holga, oktomat, supersampler, pop9, frog eye underwater, diana, and many more. each type of camera will result in diffrent picture too. for example, a super sampler can make four pictures in one photo, an oktomat can make 8 pictures in a foto.
